It was another savvy pinhook for a horse with connections to BT, LLC on the first day of the Fasig-Tipton Eastern Fall Yearlings Sale. Hip 80, a colt from the first crop of champion War Pass out of Jaramar MIss (Risen Star), sold to New York One for $72,000. That was up markedly from the $15,000 Bradley Thoroughbreds paid for the colt as a weanling at last year’s FTKNOV sale. BT, LLC bought the horse on behalf of a client. The colt is a half-sibling to SW & GSP Jaramar Rain (Thunder Gulch), dam of MGSP Imperial Council, and to Harbor Mist (Rockport Harbor), who recently became a stakes winner after taking the Anne M. Clare S. at Saratoga. Congratulations and good luck to the colt’s new connections!
