Pleuven Runs a Solid 3rd in U.S. Debut

BT’s newest French import Pleuven made his U.S. debut on December, 21st at Gulfstream Park in the (G3) Dania Beach Stakes. As most French horses do in their first start Pleuven broke flat footed and spotted the field several lengths. He sat last and ninth around the backstretch. When the field turned for home jockey Alan Garcia cut the corner and swung five wide. He launched a strong stretch run but was left with too much to do. He finished third beaten 3 and 1/4 lengths.

It was an impressive run for the break he had and how much he had to do at the top of the lane. BT and partners are very much looking forward to his next start.
