Sweet Acclaim (IRE) Solid 2nd in U.S. Debut

Sweet Acclaim (IRE) was purchased for a Bradley Thoroughbreds racing partnership in December of 2013. Highly regarded early on by her trainer Chad Brown this filly proved she is a competitive Graded Stakes quality filly on Thursday, April 17th. The (G3) Appalachian Stakes was stacked with a quality group including (G3) winners LACAROLINA (FR) and KITTEN KABOODLE.

Sweet Acclaim (IRE) broke well and was pulled back to last by rider Rosie Napravnik. The filly say last around around the backstretch and was left with a lot to do turning for home. Swung six wide Sweet Acclaim (IRE) exploded on the outside with an impressive turn of foot. She was outkicked by the impressive DARING DANCER. Sweet Acclaim (IRE) earned am 86 Beyer for her first start in America.

Daring Dancer stopped the clock in 1:36.04, Sweet Acclaim (IRE) was 2nd, and Recepta was third. Congratulations to SWEET ACCLAIM’s (IRE) co-owner’s. Looks like it will be a fun 2014 with this girl!
