Chad Brown
Chad Brown has in a short period of time, become one of the nation’s top conditioners. A native of Mechanicville, N.Y., Brown learned from some of the best in the business. He got his start with Hall of Fame conditioner Shug McGaughey, and then moved on to be an assistant for another Hall of Famer, Bobby Frankel. In 2008, Brown was just 29 when he saddled MARAM to victory in the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Santa Anita, and he has since trained fourteen more Breeders’ Cup winners. He won his first Triple Crown race with CLOUD COMPUTING in the 2017 G1 Preakness Stakes. Brown has won the Eclipse Award for Champion Trainer from 2016-2019. Additionally, nine Brown trained equine athletes have won Eclipse Awards in various categories. The conditioner has over 1,700 winners in his career and has amassed over $180,000,000 so far in lifetime earnings.
