Zloty Sold for $345,000 at Keeneland November

The Bradley Thoroughbreds Racehorse Resale Venture sold their first horse on Tuesday, November 12th at the 2013 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. ZLOTY (2011 f. by EXCHANGE RATE out of A.P. REALITY) was purchased for $65,000 at the April OBS Sale. After three races carrying the Bradley Thoroughbreds’ silks she was sold for $345,000 to owner Bobby Flay at the Keeneland November Sale.

Under the care of trainer Chad Brown she made her first start at Saratoga in mid August. She finished third a neck behind subsequent (G3) Winner KITTEN KABOODLE. In her next start on October 3rd she took command of the field at the top of the stretch and won impressively earning a 70 Beyer and a 12 1/4 Ragozin, beating Champion ROYAL DELTA’s 1/2 sister CROWN QUEEN.

After this impressive performance she pointed for the $100,000 Chelsea Flower Stakes on October 27th. After a very wide trip she finished a solid 3rd earning another Ragozin of 12 1/4 and earning Black-Type.

The filly will remain with trainer Chad Brown. Good luck to her new owner Bobby Flay! It will be fun to follow this girl on her future endeavors!
