Bradley Thoroughbreds heading to the Breeders’ Cup

Bradley Thoroughbreds and its partners are heading to the Breeders’ Cup! This afternoon, our 2-year-old filly DAYATTHESPA (City Zip) was supplemented to the Breeders’ Cup program and has been confirmed for the GII Juvenile Fillies Turf. The Breeders’ Cup World Championships will be held at Churchill Downs on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5. The Juvenile Fillies Turf is part of Friday’s card. DAYATTHESPA defeated fellow New York-breds by four eye-catching lengths on debut at Saratoga. Aug. 4. But it was her next effort–in the one-mile, GIII Natalma S. at Woodbine Sept. 17–that convinced the partnership that DAYATTHESPA deserves a shot at Breeders’ Cup glory. In her first attempt at a route of ground in the Natalma, DAYATTHESPA set crisp :23 1/5 and :46 2/5 fractions and battled gamely to the wire under Ramon Dominguez. The race garnered further luster when the third-placed horse Stephanie’s Kitten–whom DAYATTHESPA had beaten by two lengths–came back to win the G1 Alcibiadies S. at Keeneland. DAYATTHESPA’s trainer Chad Brown won the inaugural Juvenile Fillies Turf with Maram.
