Bradley Thoroughbreds found value for a client when purchasing Unbridled Betty, the dam of Unbridled Command this past September, well before his convincing [G1] Hollywood Derby win. Since the purchase of the mare, Unbridled Command went on to win the McMahon of Saratoga Mohawk Stakes at Belmont Park by over six lengths and then the [G1] Hollywood Derby.
Unbridled Betty is a 2001 m. by Unbridled’s Song out of Timotara. Her 2011 yearling by Freud sold for $82,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga August 2012 Sale.
Unbridled Command’s conditioner Tom Bush said, “He’s a very big horse – real long and very scopy. With the right kind of muscle tone, a horse like that just has the strength and confidence to handle any kind of ground. And he’s still growing… I don’t think we’ve even seen his full potential.”
