STRICT COMPLIANCE (2012 f. by INTO MISCHIEF out of DIVA DYNA) brought home a win on Saturday, May 30 for owners Klaravich Stables Inc. and William Lawrence. In the first race on the card at Penn National, the filly contested a field of graded-stakes company, and claimed the victory by a 1/2 length at the wire.
After breaking well and settling into third, STRICT COMPLIANCE ran easily under jockey Javier Castellano. Castellano closed the gap between the leaders on the backstretch, and she started to advance in the final turn. STRICT COMPLIANCE stayed strong, driving down the center of the lane to overtake QUALITY ROCKS and GYPSY JUDY in the final strides.
STRICT COMPLIANCE was a $100,000 purchase by Bradley Thoroughbreds at the OBS June Sale in 2014 on behalf of Klaravich Stables Inc. and William Lawrence. STRICT COMPLIANCE is now the leading earner for her sire INTO MISCHIEF in 2015. This was her third win from four starts lifetime.
