Bradley Thoroughbreds’ Pinhook Venture graduate KNUCKLE CURVE (2011 c. by PROUD CITIZEN out of SLEEP AWAY CAMP) broke his maiden on June 13 at Belmont Park by an impressive 7 1/4 lengths!
The colt made his New York debut on April 12th at Aqueduct finishing a good third after stumbling out of the gate.
Making his third lifetime start, KNUCKLE CURVE broke cleanly under Cornelio Velasquez from the gate and went right to the lead in the five horse field. Down the stretch, CHOIR DIRECTOR looked to challenge KNUCKLE CURVE, but the PROUD CITIZEN colt boldly drew off and crossed the wire 7 1/4 lengths in the lead.
KNUCKLE CURVE was sold for $100,000 as a Two-Year-Old in Training at OBS in April 2013 from the Eddie Woods’ Consignment.
KNUCKLE CURVE is trained by Michelle Nevin, and owned by Bloom Racing Stable. Congratulations to all the connections!
