Latent Heat to River Oaks in Oklahoma

Schumer Bloodstock and Bradley Thoroughbreds, LLC have arranged a deal to send 9-year-old stallion Latent Heat   from Woods Edge Farm near Lexington to River Oaks Farm near Sulphur, Okla. A fee will be announced later.

Latent Heat (Maria’s Mon—True Flare, by Capote) won the 2006 Malibu Stakes (gr. I) over a field that included champion Midnight Lute, Da Stoops, Brother Derek, Arson Squad, and Spring At Last. He also won the San Carlos Handicap (gr. II) and finished his racing career with earnings of $450,400.

Latent Heat moves into the second spot on the Oklahoma leading sires’ list with progeny earnings of more than $1.5 million in 2012. His current runners include graded stakes-placed Jamaican Smoke and True Feelings, stakes winner Softly Lit, and stakes-placed Ciguaraya.
