CHERUBIM (2011 c. by HENNY HUGHES out of WINGS OF AN ANGEL) returned to racing after a long layoff with an impressive win earning a 94 Beyer at Santa Anita on May 9.
He broke well and settled into 4th under jockey Tiago Josue Pereira and stayed near the lead before taking it over at the 1/2 mile. He opened up at the final turn and extended his lead to 4 1/4 down the stretch for an easy win.
CHERUBIM was purchased for $50,000 by Bradley Thoroughbreds at the 2013 OBS June Sale for client Gerry Frankel. Congratulations to all the connections!
